HCR seeks to hire a few experienced guides to join our summer guiding crew on our multi-day whitewater rafting trips on some of the most beautiful rivers in Idaho, the Snake River through Hells Canyon and the Salmon river. You must be 18 years or older and have a current First Aid/CPR certificate. HCR guides are a thoughtful and hard-working group of people with a tremendous love for the outdoors. As much as we love rafting and fishing, we love sharing nature with our guests even more. Raft guiding is long hours in often physically demanding situations. Yet working in an outdoor venue is incredible rewarding. HCR seeks guides who are committed to safety, showing our guests how much we love what we do, support conservation efforts, interpret the amazing historical site, storytelling, desire to grow and learn, and people who seek to better themselves and the team they are working with.
